FINA Setúbal 10 Km World Cup 2011

On the next weekend it will happen another biggest and spectacular event called FINA Setúbal Bay 10 km World Cup 2011 on Al. Promoted by Municipality of Setúbal will have several European, Worldwide and Olimpic champions in competition. T

Thomas Lurz and Angela Maurer (both from Germany9 , Petar Stoychev (Bulgaria), Olga Beresnieva (Ukraine) and Gianniotis Spyridon (Greece) will compete on this World Cup competition to be the first. Portugal will have also athlete´s , their names are : Daniela Pinto and Arniy Lavrentyev. Besides the event, if you travel to Setúbal you have several activities during the day till FINA´s Setúbal Bay World Cup.

During the day it will be present Natalie Du Toit ( South Africa, Awarded at Laureus Awards ), the Paralympic Sport Athlete. Natalie Du Toit is the unique athlete that participate on Olimpic and Paralympic taking the Flag Federation of his country. Schedules Event

Azulejos de Azeitão uses the European traditional methods of tile making and reproduces antique design from European countries like France, Germany, Portugal, Spain and other , but also Islamic and Chinese.

Setúbal Traditional Festivities

We can already smell the Summer in Setúbal Region and the city is organizing the forthcoming Traditional Festivities. On 10 and 11 June besides the parades, you can taste the amazing gastronomy of Setúbal region (Sardines that you will love forsure) , taste amazing wines, drink Moscatel and see the parades at Praça de Touros Carlos Relvas .

The show will start at 10pm with several local clubs that prepared an amazing parade, special for you that will travel to Setúbal . The price of Tickets will be 2,5 € and colours , happiness and funny moments we grant it ! Later, on 18 June , the best ten marches of these two days goes to the finals at Av. Luisa Todi (10 pm).

From 20 June till 4 July, it will be possible to visit an exhibition of the arcs used during the parades on the Traditional Festivities. They will be available at Paços do Concelho .

Travel to City of Setúbal , Gastronomy, Traditional Festivities are waiting you. During the day, we suggest you a visit to Arrabida Hills , Wild Dolphins, a boat tour on Sado Estuary .

Silver Medal Award for Lobo Mau 2008 and Casa Agricola Assis Lobo

Casa Agricola Assis Lobo was present at the 10th Edition of the International Wines Contest called “La Selezione Del Sindaco” the producer had 2 wines in competition, which were : Lobo Mau 2007 and Lobo Mau 2008. We are proud to announce that the Lobo Mau 2008 (red wine) won the Silver Medal and it was the BEST Portuguese wine in the contest.

This prize, it is one more of the biggest list of Casa Agricola Assis Lobo with others amazing wines they produce on their 60 ha of vynery. Benevento and Torrecuso (Italy), thanks so much to appreciate excellent wines like Lobo Mau 2008.

Some of the international awards : London Challenge 2008 (Lobo Mau Reserve, 2004, red) , AWC Viena 2006, AWC Viena 2007 and AWC Viena 2008 (Assis Lobo D.O.C. Palmela, 2004, Red) and CVRPS Wine Contest 2007 (Assis Lobo D.O.C. Setubal, 2003, Moscatel).

Pandora´s Box at Auditório Municipal Charlot ( Festroia)

Directed by Yesim Ustaoglu and writen by Selma Kaygusuz and Yasemin Ustaoglu , Pandora Box´s has amazing tuskish actors like Tsilla Chelton, Derya Alabora, Ovul Avkiran. At this edition of Festroia - International Film Festival of Setubal the organization and the Turkish Embassy made an partnership and the result is the homage to turkish cinema.

Pandora´s Box will start at 9pm on Auditório Municipal Charlot in Setúbal . (Movie Trailer) .

After Pandora´s Box, 12pm it will start Retrospective from Jos Stelling with "No Trains No Planes", Nedtherlands, 105 minutes.

Palmela 2011 - International Panoramic Photograpy Festival

Start today the conferencies concerning to Palmela 2011 - International Panoramic Photography Festival ( 1 / 4th June ). This is the first event organized in Europe and has the participation of international speakers and amazing people that is making a wonderful job with this photography techinique and equipament.

Speakers like Henry Stuart (The Royal Wedding Giga Pixel Panorama – Capturing the Moment, Over Many Moments!) , , AYRTON360 – PanoJournalism, Aaron Spence – Thinking Outside the Circle, John Kroll – Evolving architecture photography to VR architecture photography.

Today special attention to Marco Trezzini ( Aroundertouch The World at Your Fingertips), will talk about VR Panorama app, selected by Apple for the IPAD 2 launch plus iPhones. A perfect wedding, since the products of this international brand areaa huge success among photographers.

Ryan Whitehead ( The Nimmo Bay 360º Video Experience), Urs Krebs , will speak about Seitz Lab and their most recent projects. Roudshot and Seitz Labs keep designing and manufacturing equipment during the last 50 years. Omer Calev will speak about the experience and work of using panoramas to document people. Nicole Tung and Jason Barr will present “VR Photography in crime Scenes”. This last two professionals work with EST - Envinronmental Science & Research Ltd at New Zealand. Welcome all to Palmela, an amazing village to produce such big event. ( Conference ).
