Super Bock Super Rock 2011 starts today!

One of the major festival in Portugal is once again in Meco from today ( 14 July ) till 16 July. Bands like The Strokes, Arcade Fire , Slash and Arctic Monkeys, Portished, The Gift (portuguese), besides more than 40 bands distributed on the 3 stages of the facilities.

The tickets for the 3 days sold out ! This is the 17th edition of the festival that is improving year after year with more and best conditions. It has camping area , transportation from the place of the festival to the beaches, car parking besides restaurants and many other facilities to enjoy the moment at the festival.

New Dolphin Member on Sado Estuary

On 1st July born a new Dolphin at Sado Estuary. This is the 26th members of this resident family that loves this particular area for his preservation.

Casa Agricola Assis Lobo was at Casa da Baia in Setúbal on the Wines Day, presenting their amazing wines ( red, white and moscatel ). This event was visited by tourists that wish to taste the amazing wines of the region.

Recently the brand won the Silver Medal on the 10th Edition of Italian Contest "La Selezione Del Sindaco" and they are proud of it. It is another award to join to the others that Casa Agricola Assis Lobo already won, speacially in Austria, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Casa Agricola Assis Lobo is one of the best portuguese wines at the moment.

Atlantic Ultra Marathon 2011

The Atlantic Ultra Marathon 2011 will start on the beach of Melides and will end on the Tróia Beach. Visit Setúbal region on 17 July and run 43 km on the sands of the amazing beaches on Portugal Dream Coast.

The runners will have to cross several beaches from the region, like Carvalhal , Beach of Aberta Nova, Galé, Pinheiro da Cruz, Pego, Soltróia . Organized by sport division of Municipality of Grândola , this is an unique event that people will be surprise. Has usual runners will receive some gifts for participation and prizes for the winners.

Juniors at European Championship Comporta 2011

The Equestrian European Championship Comporta 2011 already started yesterday and today was the first qualyfing day for the Juniors category. In the end of the day, the results was :

Sant´Iago Fair in Setúbal

Sant´Iago Fair in Setúbal is almost ready to start. From 23 July till 7 August in Manteigadas, will be an event with lots of music, activities, exhibitions , local products, portuguese traditions, among many other things you can do.

Last year the organization sold more than 360.000 tickets to people from all world that were in Setúbal during summer vacations and local residents. The major bands to play during this year are Tony Carreira, Homens da Luta and from Setúbal Hands on Approach. Organized by Municipality of Setúbal and Associação Parque Sant’Iago, soon we will put available to you all the information concerning to dates and hours of the music events, once that all the rest of the activities are during the 16 days of the event.
